Earrings F ­3 Dalarna. Download high-resolution image

A 46 mm semicircle decorated with imprints of Torx screws.  Accompanied by two layer sheets of clashing colored leather. This part of the earring is designed to lean within the shape of the ear.

Round copper ring interlocks a crystal ball followed by a handful of chains. A brass sash chain are remodeled & integrated into the earring giving the shape a nice natural flow down the neckline.  An oxide patina effect sits throughout the silver.

Headpiece F 7 SŒtenŠs. Download high-resolution image

A new technique discovered by piercing the leather and fixing it into a bent metal frame. Describing it best as a weaving method similar to "smocking" where oiled leather integrates with five silver wires shaping around the scull.

It is placed on the top of a forehead and is laced at the back of the head. Multiple chain-links fall from the bottom part of the headpiece creating a "metal fringe".

 

 

 

 

Brooch-earring F 16 Uppsala. Download high-resolution image

F 16 Uppsala is the main piece in the collection. Its body shaping from the earlobe & drifting down on the chest, creating silver lining like ocean wavelengths. Whole ear surrounding silver chains extension is attached to quarter moon shaped clip, that meets ornamental copper drops made from sash chains extending into another five long chains leading to the brooch. The broach is made out of paper clay beads placed in grid.  Safety pin idea is transformed as the brooch attachment to the cloth.

Last piece in the collection is a " choker " that has been made using the same materials and principal as the head-piece. The leather-metal blended frame wraps around the neck engaging with clay beads. The center beads are then connected with silver and gold chains that drift down the dŽcolletŽ area.

Continuing the mathematical theme as in brooch-earring design, the main detail of the necklace contains of custom-made paper clay bead, forming a three-dimensional grid. Extending downwards are three silver chain links that frame a crystal ball wrapped into two copper rings. It is connected to a silver bar and hangs on two differently shaped chains fastened with a trigger clasp.
